On June 2nd, 2012 at 0900 on Navarre Beach, we will be kicking off an event for our Hometown Wounded Warriors to raise awareness and provide a unique program to allow our veterans to get out into the ocean, catch a few waves with proper instruction, and feel the healing nature of the sea.

This is a morale event, so there is NO FEE associated with this event. We only ask for your support by cheering for our folks and sharing the shoreline with those that have protected our freedom.

Surf is still up in the waist to a little bigger range and clean. More updates later!

Update : Getting reports of waist to occasional chest high and choppy…westerly drift too…all day!

Nothing yet but the winds are blowing! I will be out of town until Monday (figure that!) Updates as I hear em otherwise get ready for swell through Wednesday!

Not much yet around knee to thigh and crappy.  Should be picking up all day with windy conditions. On the way to Tallahassee for an event so no more updates unless I get the word! Keep checking the cams and other reports for updates!

Waist to belly maybe a little bigger semi choppy….a little deep

It appears the surf is running in the waist to chest semi choppy a little cleaner than yesterday but still chunky and funky. Wind is on it already but a ridable wave. All day!

Surf is finally picking up to chest
and bigger. Choppy but fun. On the rise!

Surf is running in the thigh maybe bigger range(at the right spot) semi choppy light winds right now. Weak summer looking west swell.  PCB is calling waist plus so head east for a little more size!

Also the parking lot next to the pier is closed for funfest…

Got out for a few waves this afternoon…you didn’t miss much. I managed to snap a couple before I paddled out, don’t be deceived pix make it better than it looked!

Back in town and surf is stilling the waist chest plus range. Semi clean moderate SE winds on it and tide looks full. Kinda funky but surf!
