Once again the gulf has not come through on it’s promise! North winds started to blow early this morning causing the surf to go completely flat (like a lake!) There is hope for the end of the week starting Thursday as a new front approaches (hopefully there will be waves for the skim comp this weekend). Otherwise enjoy the fall-like weather while it lasts!

Yup it’s flat with 1.3 ft seas…BUT! we have waves in the forecast, hopefully a coming front will bring us some decent sized surf on Mon./Tues. see below:

Sat update: basically flat, tiny skim about shin high, super clean surging on the beach.

Skim might improve with the day & tides check it later, however it will be on the small side.

Nice beach day go fishing.

Friday update. Flat to shin high

Thursday am still no surf. Clean conditions & swelly. Skim looks good only on the small scale pushing towards p-cola

Wednesday update small bump not much change since yesterday. Surf on tap for tommorow we will update later

Tues update small knee high at best. Skim much the same it could be something to do later.

Still very small surf, calling for 2-3 ft seas the next couple of days. As of now nothing to mention. Skim could be better this afternoon with the incoming tide.

Surf continues on the small side this morning, skim is also small but probably worth a go at it.

HEY, you skimboarders need to practice for the upcoming contest the first weekend of October so get to the beach and get it before it goes back to lake mexico status!

Low tide is this AM @ 6:30 and high is 9:50 pm so the skim should hold throughout the day. Wind is on it causing a light chop, clear water, with some light rain in the area. Some pix of the shorebreak next to the pier…

Small surf on tap today at about knee high, choppy still maybe longboardable if your desperate.  Skim could be fun at least there is a bump!

Not much better this afternoon 6pm and still choppy hard south winds on it with one dude out and a yack attacker. Nice beach afternoon not much hope for tomorrow…

Surf is on the decline with knee to thigh high chop & slop. Skim is the same, will update later if conditions change!
