Wed 12 pm

Lunch update:
Overhead stuff at times here. Mostly shoulder to head on the east side of the pier, west side of pier is smaller but cleaner except for the tar patties coming in pretty heavy & thunderstorms on the horizon.

Wed 6 am

Wednesday morning early bird surf report. Surf is a solid chest to head high today occasional larger set. East wind on it currently causing for some semi clean side shore conditions. Looks really fun & jamming on the right side of the pier. 5 dudes on it already!

Tues 6 pm TS Alex photo set

Surf looks clean around chest + a bit of high tide currently. Fun none the less & packed with surfers but with plenty of room on the west side of the pier. Should have solid surf through the weekend & no oil yet!

Photo set of this evening below!

Tuesday 7:30am

Tuesday update:
Surf is waste to chest occasional bigger set, choppy sloppy with south southeast winds on it. Currently we have rain on the beaches & only a couple guys out on the right side of the pier. Doesn’t look that good right now maybe later, no pictures this morning.

Monday’s updates

All updates & photos courtesy of local Tim & his cell phone

Monday 3pm update:

Some sets overhead but they have gotten smaller here in navarre. I would say mostly rib-chest with some headers every 10 to 15 minutes but very fun. Lots of dudes on it currently.

Midday noon update:

Surf is getting choppy now. Solid rib to higher sets. Some jelly fish. Lots of surfers. No oil. Some photos courtesy Tim’s phone.

9am update:

Surf is a solid chest with shoulder hi’s, clean, good short or longboard day-Tim

Monday early am

Monday 6:15 update: surf is still up in the solid waste high range. Rain with heavy thunderstorms are in the area, nobody out at this time. Hard to tell but looks like there could be larger chest high sets. Clean conditions.

Sunday am

We still have a small swell hanging on this morning. Knee to thigh(maybe an occasional larger set) & glassy. Seems to have a better push on it today & looks fun once again for the longboard! Skim is looking good too a solid waist with occasional large sets. Better down in the state park to the east. Have a great sunny Sunday!

Sat pm

Surf is picked up a tad. About knee to thigh semi choppy bump. Longboardable clear green water! More swell on the way.

Saturday am

Surf has dropped but not really ridable , maybe knee & weak. Skim looks fun though & it’s a great beach day!

All eyes on the Caribbean with our new tropical system “Alex” developing overnight. We should be seeing some swell in the next few days. Let’s pray the oil stays far from our beaches!

My St. Augustine trip

I wanted to post a few photos of the fun little swell I was able to catch in the nations oldest city last week. Wasn’t all time but was good enough to break this flat spell! It’s nice to get out of town every now and then…unfortunately probably more now than ever.

Friday am

Surf is hanging in there at a super clean thigh high. Light offshore winds and clear water. Looks like fun. Skim is firing at about thigh to waist also, surging right on the beach. Another beautiful beach day!

Thursday am

Surf is around knee to thigh with some waist sets. Slow breaking. Clean lines. Clear water with some seaweed but no oil. A beautiful day for longboarding. Little swell is still hanging on. Thanks to Tim for the update!

Meanwhile in St Augustine the waves were a glassy waist to chest high. It was pretty fun early! Here are some pix from the Nvr pier & some from my phone here in St Augustine. Photo set post later so check back soon!

Wed update

Surf is still hanging in there at knee
To thigh occasional larger wave.
On the east coast, where I am at, it is a clean & glassy waist to occasional chest and fun little ground swell.

“Another great day of surfing. Thigh to waist clean long sets with the occasional rib high sets, slow breaking, great longboarding day! Seaweed, wildlife (but no sharks) and no oil made it for another day in paradise”
Thanks Tim!
Surf was also fun here!
