North winds fun lies! Around waist!
Here are some photos of that short window of time this day…
3:45pm update
Surf is hanging in there around waist. Fun session on the longboard earlier. The wind has backed off a bit and the form has improved since this morning. This may be the last of the swell so get it while you can!
Still some surf out here. Around waist, light to moderate S winds, semi clean. Maybe a bit of low tide sickness early. Ridable for a longboard & fish for sure! Maybe shorty for little guys. Updates later today!

Looks like still some swell out there! Semi choppy waist + is what I’m hearing…As for Richard it looks like a bust!
But at least we have some waves now so get out there and enjoy the bitter end of warm water waves!
Surf us around chest, so it appears this early. Stiff south winds on it causing for choppy conditions. The form doesn’t look that great but hey there’s surf! Seas are around 5 ft increasing 3-6 so it should maintain if not build all day. I will be at work for the next 2 days so I will try and get more updates when possible!
2 PM update
Surf is around waist to occasional chest. Kinda weak mushy wind swell symptoms but plenty ridable! Probably better on a fish or longboard unless you’re a little person…wind is still on it but not messing it up too bad at the moment. Not really worth any pix…
There has finally a small wave starting to show! East winds on it currently, semi choppy waist high wind swell. Maybe larger sets, pushing towards P’cola so I’m sure it’s a little bigger that way. So stop by your fav surf shop and grab your gear! I’ll update this later this afternoon!

Bring it!!!!
It looks like Paula may have burned us on this one. She is going in what appears to be a circle down over Cuba now. No telling what the future will bring with this one. Not much hope for surf here in the panhandle for this weekend. A cold front passes tonight with hard N winds=no surf for us!
It’s time to take up fishing perhaps…
Last day of “ridable” waves was September the 27th!!!! Arhggg….
Well, it’s still basically flat. We’ll call it clean shin high at best.
All eyes are on Paula down south and hoping to see waves by the weeks end. Nothing is showing on the Magic Seaweed site (their predictions) yet but I am optimistic! As soon as we have waves you will be the first to know!
